Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the Greatest Person in History

Why did Michael Hart name Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the most influential person in history? Michael Hart spent 28 years writing his book, ‘The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History’. After completing it, when he attempted to announce who the greatest person in history was during a lecture in London, some people in the audience protested and tried to stop him.

He said: “A man stood in Mecca, which was just a small village back then, and declared, ‘I am Allah’s Messenger to you; I have come to perfect your moral character.’ Initially, only four people believed him-his wife, his friend, and two young boys! Today, 1400 years later, the number of Muslims has surpassed 1.5 billion, and it continues to increase daily.

A lie cannot survive for 1400 years. Furthermore, one person cannot deceive 1.5 billion people. Even after so much time has passed, there are millions of Muslims who are ready to sacrifice themselves just for a single word spoken about their Prophet.

Therefore, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is indeed the greatest person in history.”

The Prayer of Children for Their Parents

A believer’s ultimate goal is to reach paradise (Jannah). That paradise is wider and vaster than the universe we live in. Similarly, there are many ranks and levels within Paradise. To understand the scale, just as someone in hell would look at the dwellers of paradise and feel immense sorrow, a person in a lower rank of paradise will look at someone in a higher rank and feel a deep sense of longing and regret.

When it comes to parents, their ranks in paradise will be elevated.

“Indeed, Allah will raise the status of a righteous servant in paradise. The servant will ask, ‘O my Lord! How did I get this?’ Allah will reply, ‘Because of your child seeking forgiveness (Istighfar) for you.’ ” (Musnad Ahmad, Ibn Majah)

Why This Arrogance?

The final vehicle a human will ride is a coffin (Sandook), the final clothing they will wear is a shroud (Kafan), and the final home they will reside in is the grave (Qabr).

This is the ultimate end of every human being. This being the case, why should a person hold onto arrogance?

Therefore, O human, learn to live with humility.
