The Salamah Society of Sri Lanka vehemently condemns the barbaric bomb attacks targeting innocent Christians commemorating Easter Sunday at Churches and five-star hotels in Colombo, and conveys its profound regrets and deep sorrow to all victims.
The perpetrators of this heinous crime and acts of terrorism should be identified and apprehended, and the maximum punishment should be meted out to them.
At this time of great distress, we convey to the bereaved families who lost their loved ones our sincere condolences and pray for the speedy recovery of all those who were injured in these attacks.
We urge the government and concerned authorities to immediately identify and determine the true cause of these attacks and enlighten the general public.
Just as it is the responsibility of the government to ensure that such inhuman acts that push our country decades behind are not repeated, it is also essential that the people act with caution and restraint.
In this critical situation, we earnestly request all Sri Lankans to stand united and work together in good faith to save our motherland from these treacherous acts of violence.

குரூரமான, மிலேச்சத்தனமான தாக்குதல்களை ஸலாமா நிறுவனம் வன்மையாக கண்டிக்கின்றது
கிருஸ்த்து உயிர்த்த ஞாயிறு தினத்தை அனுஷ்டித்துக் கொண்டிருந்த கிறிஸ்தவ மக்களையும் ஐந்து நட்சத்திர ஹோட்டல்களையும் இலக்காகக் கொண்டு நடாத்தப்பட்ட மனிதாபிமானமற்ற கொடூர தாக்குதல்கள் தொடர்பாக எமது ஆழ்ந்த கவலையை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதோடு, குறித்த மிலேச்சத்தனமான தாக்குதல்களை வன்மையாக கண்டிக்கின்றோம்.
இத்தாக்குதல்களில் நேரடியாக சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களையும் இவ் ஈனச் செயல்களுக்குப் பின்னால் இருப்பவர்கள் அனைவரையும் கைது செய்து நீதிக்கு முன் நிறுத்தி அதிகபட்ச தண்டனைகளை வழங்க வேண்டும்.
இந்த துரதிஷ்டமான நிகழ்வில் உயிரிழந்தவர்களின் குடும்பத்தினருக்கும், உடல் உள காயங்களுக்கும் தாக்கங்களுக்கும் உட்பட்ட அனைவருக்கும் எமது ஆழ்ந்த அனுதாபங்களைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்வதோடு, அவர்களின் விரைவான சுகத்திற்கும் பிரார்த்தனை செய்கின்றோம்.
அதேபோல் இந்த திட்டமிடப்பட்ட கொடூரத் தாக்குதல்களின் பின்னால் இருக்கும் சக்திகளை சரியாக இனம்கண்டு அவர்கள் தொடர்பான உண்மைச் செய்திகளை மக்களறியச் செய்ய வேண்டும்.
நமது இலங்கையை மீண்டும் பின்னோக்கித் தள்ளுகின்ற இவ்வாறான ஈனச் செயல்கள் இதன் பிறகு நடக்காமல் பார்த்துக் கொள்வது அரசின் பொறுப்பாகும். அத்துடன் பொதுமக்களும் விழிப்புடன் இருக்க வேண்டிய தேவையுள்ளது.
இந்த இக்கட்டான நிலையில் இருந்து இந்நாட்டை மீட்டெடுப்பதற்காக இலங்கை வாழ் அனைவரும் ஒன்றுபட்டு பரஸ்பர புரிந்துணர்வுடன் செயற்படுவது அவசியமென ஸலாமா அங்கத்தவர்களையும் நாட்டின் பொதுமக்களையும் வேண்டிக் கொள்கின்றோம்.
