Pure Advice, Beneficial Outcome

Some of you may know the reason why Imam Bukhari (Rah) compiled his Hadith book called Sahihul Bukhari. Regarding this, Imam Bukhari (Rah) says:

“When we were with Ishaq ibn Rahawayh (Rah), he said, ‘It would be good if you were to compile a book that summarizes the authentic Sunnahs of the Prophet (PBUH) in a concise manner.’ ”

Regarding this, Imam Bukhari (Rah) says:

“These words left a deep impact in my heart. Thereafter, I began to compile the book Al-Jami’us Sahih.”

Imam Bukhari (Rah) compiled the most reliable Hadiths in his book.

Through both the pure advice of Imam Ishaq and the pure initiative of Imam Bukhari — Allah made Sahihul Bukhari the best book after the Quran. What a great blessing!

We Must Have Good Thoughts About People

Imam al-Ghazali (Rah) says:

“Having evil thoughts (سوء الظن) is prohibited just as speaking evil words is prohibited. Just as it is forbidden for you to speak about the faults of others to another person with your tongue, similarly it is not permissible for you to harbor evil thoughts about your brother in your heart.”

He further says:

“The reason evil thinking is prohibited is that Allah alone is the One who knows the secrets of the hearts. Therefore, you have no right to have evil thoughts about others. Until a matter becomes openly clear to you in a way that leaves no room for any other interpretation, you must not have evil thoughts about anyone.

If such a matter becomes directly clear to you, you cannot disbelieve what you have come to know and seen with your own eyes. However, if a matter that you have not seen with your eyes nor heard with your ears appears in your heart, then it is certainly a thought that Satan has placed within you. Therefore, you must reject that thought as false.”

Sadaqa

Sadaqah is sufficient to attain Allah’s love and pleasure, shade on the day of Judgment, protection from the Hellfire, healing from illness, blessings (Barakah) in wealth, and many other benefits.
