YOUR MIND IS A WONDROUS WORLD
Sheikh Ali al-Tantawi says: “Your mind is an amazing world; It keeps changing every moment; It never stays in one state. When you love someone, you see them as an angel; later when you hate them, you see them as a devil. But they are neither an angel nor a devil. The change did not happen in them; the change happened in your own state of mind.
IMAM AHMAD’S MEMORIZATION OF QURAN AND HIS
MOTHER’S CARE
Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (rahimahullah) said: _When I was ten years old, my mother helped me memorize the Qur’an. She would wake me up before Fajr prayer. On those cold days in Baghdad, she would heat water and give it to me to perform wudu. Then she would dress me and take me to the masjid herself — because our house was far from the masjid and the road was dark.
TWO WORDS BELOVED TO AR-RAHMAN
The last hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari: Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said,
“There are two words which are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and beloved to Ar-Rahman:
سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم
SubhanAllahi wa bihamdihi, SubhanAllahil Azeem.”
Let us recite this easy dhikr often. Let us earn Allah’s love and gather abundant rewards.
